SOME of you readers may know about my obsession with Urban . . it's almost a little unhealthy. For those who don't know Urban is a store that offers a variety of clothes, I would say they lean twoards vintage looks but add a spin. They're what the "hipsters" wear, it's a little pricey, okay a bit of alotta pricey but they are well made clothes and pieces that you could wear in the future. SO check it out and comment what you thin, if you have any suggestions what I should put on my lookbook let me know!

Look Book

It' been almost 17 years and about mmm . . . 6 months till senior year

So I turn 17 on Wed., and it's blowing my mind especially when it came time to celebrate. This year my mom and i went all out and we bought a ton of Hello Kitty decortaions and covered my house in pink and purple (note I HATE pink); we invited a few of my girlfriends from school over for a sleepover and had a blast. My best friend since middle school over and the birthday card she gave me described our relationship since middle school. As i read that car I started realizing that in 6 months my junior year will be over, I'll start my final year of high school, the year that I've been looking forward to since the first day of my freshman year. Then of course it starts the panic of when to take my SAT ,Senior Exit, applying to colleges, it makes ya bug out. But I realized I have to enjoy the time I have left of enjoying junior year and enjoying relaxing before my life gets turned upside-down and I have to start thinking about moving out and such. But duces I have to see if it will actually snow down here. Enjoy the time you have now before it ends, it all goes by so fast.

teenage boys,the good bad, the ugly and everything in between!

HEY my readers! So like I said I'd be posting about the teenage boy, and trust me this one will have you "oh girl I know you feel"-in and " he did what?! oh girrrll". So let's begin:
Here's what gets me about some guys that treat us girls like toys. Last time I checked the bottom of my foot doesn't say made in China and I'm not blonde, hard, and made of plastic; I'm not some Barbie Doll for you to play with then throw away when you get bored and want a new shiny toy. Don't talk to me like you want me to be your girl then you see someone else and is like oh well she wont care. Guess what? we do.
What else gets me is when a boy wants to talk to you and you to be his girl but wont commit and be your boy because " he doesn't want a relationship" but when you go out with your girls, or hang or talk with some other boy he gets mad, and tells you" that's not how my girl should be actin you're mine"(last time I checked I don't have a tag on me that says property of stupid boy) But when he goes out with the boys and makes out with other chicks and you confront him, he tells you " But we aren't together, and you make it feel like we are" BULL! If you know a boy that's like that then drop him . . like NOW!
But not all boys are bad and when you meet him, you know he's special, he's awesome and loves everything about you and doesn't want to change a thing about you. He looks past the boobs and butt and sees who's really behind it. Who would rather call you beautiful than anything else. When you meet him, hold on to him because there isn't anyone like him. Like him for him, look past some small things, don't find imperfections, see him for him. There are very few straight boys like that and once you meet one, you'll have your mind blown :)

IM BACK!!!-stories from beyond enemy lines!

WELL readers it's been too long! Between school and homework and the occasional visit from a few of my favorite college friends; this girl has been BUSY. SO the other day I was thinking about a few things I should post in this blog-edition, the basic things went through my head such as gay rights(my personal fav topic), homework(blah) and pretty much anything that ran through my head and then I had THE idea(the holy mother of all ideas)
SO I decided I will write about the teenage boy, the good bad and the ugly so get ready for an interesting piece.

seriously!?! they're fake!

WELL readers in the world of style and fashion fake is never good, I don't care how real it looks, or how cheap you got it don't wear it! So it has recently come to my attention the new "trend" (if you could even call it that) of wearing the 3-D glasses with the lenses popped out and wearing them as the thick nerdy glasses. okay, people look here, that's not cute' or stylish it just looks kinda dumb. Go to the mall, go to claire's and get some faux ones there if you insist on wearing them or Target; really here folks it's not cute. Well I'm off in hunt of Raybans

ethings you learn along the way

WELL readers it's that time of year again . . .almost school time, summer is almost over and back to school. I don't know about y'all out there but summer is almost school . . .but about life; I mean think about it, you learn about life, the real world, making money and love. I don't know about the rest of you but I learned a lot this summer, a lot that made me who I am at this moment typing out this blog; I learned who I want to be, what I want to do and the fact that I won't change that for anyone, or anything. Remember that readers that changing yourself for anyone does'nt make you you; it makes you what society and the world wants you to be. So gear up kiddies there's still a lot to learn. Well I'm off to read my summer reading.

Alabama . . . .you have hit a new low

SO my readers, while recently watching 48 hours mystery( yes I'm smart and I like murders what can I say?) I discovered the story of the West Memphis 3. In 1993 in West Memphis Alabama( my reaction was the same, "such a place exisists?!") three young boys were mysteriously murdered, it was rumored to be a satanic ritual (total b.s). Well some random juvy officer was like oh it's totally this kid, he's totally a satanic( again more b-to the s). So with out any evidence they made the arrest, and randomly came up with 2 other acomplists; fast forward to the trial all 3 got life in prison, and the kid from juvy that was thought to be a satanic, is currently on death row. ON this 48 hour special I found out that they have current This is what gets me going readers, THERE WAS NO PHYSICAL EVIDENCE AGAINST THE CURRENT PEOPLE IN JAIL YOU IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Two out of the 3 convidicted have requested re-trial but were denied. Readers, google this case, hulu the 48 hour special, tell me what you think because I feel that there were so many civil-rights violated in this case; and I want Obama to deal with this because state of Alabama is DOING JACK SQUAT! OPEN YOUR EYES ALABAMA, SMELL THE COFFEE THERE IS NO PHYSICAL EVIDENCE!!! ugh . . .less than a month befoere school starts back up

WELL readers it's almost that time of year we fear the most . . .the end of summer :/
I am excited for my junior but I'd rather stay home, sleep most of the day, then spend the rest of my day reasearching for the blog anf facebook and(as Katy Griffin calls it) twating on my twitter. But the irony to it all is that during summer we all want school to be back in session, to see our friends and get dreadful graduation projects over. While during the school year we count down seconds,minutes, hours and days untill summer again. So my readers get your pencil and pens, notebook and binders ready; pac your lunches and wake up a 5am cuz those in the CMS area have less than a month before we're back in the friggin hole.

firey redheads, gays, and DADT

SO readers while watching one of my fav. and fellow redheads, Kathy Griffin; the issue of don't ask, don"t tell was brought up. For all the readers that personally know me I love my gays and lesbians like a fat kid loves their cake. On the episode they showed clips of various Republican big wigs in Washington bringing up the fact how it'll corrupt the military and how there will be and issue of gay men liking men they see and women liking women. Let me say this Republicans on capitial hill, all gays and lesbians DO NOT like every man and or woman they see, and you let convicts and high-school drop-outs in this countries military. So all my readers in the words of my favorite, potty-mouthed comedian Kathy Griffin, contact our representaives, let the voices be heard. Help those who can not speak.

way too connected to the world . .

SO today I had the realization that I am so connected to the outside world and the internet. I have a twitter(vancilgirl93 follow me!) a facebook, an email, a tubler( that i never go on) a formspring and it all goes to my cell phone. As I checked my text messages that I got whe I was sleeping I started to think; mmm who thought of sending text messages? Was it someone who wanted teenagers to use it to contact other teenagers and piss off their parents in the proess? Or (in my case) a way to connect with people I never see. I also started thinking how rare it is to talk to someone on the phone,to call and have a legit convo. I mean parents are even texting, mine do all the time, to us,to their friends and to family. ButI've also realized how its distancing us, my parents recently went away for the weekend and we texted back and forth and maybe actually had a conversation once or twice. So either way you look at it people are way too connected but without we'd all be mindlessly bored. MMMM . . . my philosopher moment is over . . .

SO I have noticed that in the style world dressing like an Indie music artist or a totured artist is way in. But here's my issure don't sit there and say you're too indie to be mainstream because tech. You are way mainstream my dear so,put on your Raybans and wish you were in the Breakfast Club.
